This business was started by Mrs. Swandani on 1987 from her home’s garage,
in her free time. The menu was limited to gado-gado, rujak and various juices.
Gradually, Mrs. Swandani added several Javanese foods in the menu, because
she came from Solo, Central Java.
Her diligence in promoting the food finally paid off, the responses from community
are extraordinary. Then she opened up her first restaurant at Sunter on 1990. Her
willing to always give the best to the customer, makes Mrs. Swandani do a lot of
innovation, from Javanese food to the appearance of the restaurant. Supported by
Mr. Heru Kumarga’s thought (her husband), the restaurant is getting bigger, and
grown up from one to three ruko. July 2007, Dapur Solo opened up it first branch
at Melawai and this also started up the plan for opening branches at any other places. |
